Hawkstone Fun Ride

Sunday 12th September 2010 – Start at 10.00 a.m. final riders away at 2.30 p.m.
In region of 50 senior and 30 junior jumps, all of which are optional, with the rare opportunity to ride through 11 to 12 miles of the most beautifully unspoilt Shropshire countryside. Come and enjoy a fantastic day out full of adventure and excitement

Scarecrows on Parade!

A new venture at this years Hodnet & District Garden Club Annual Horticultural Show will be a scarecrow competition.
Children from the area are invited to build their own scarecrow and bring it along to the Lyon Hall on Saturday 21st August. Once the entries have been judged they will be put on parade outside Mulberry Bush Studios, the florists on Church Street.

Hodnet School Summer Fair

Saturday 17th July, 11 am – 2 pm

Hodnet Summer Fair 2010

BBQ , Bar, Stalls, Teas and Cakes, Ice Cream

Raffle: 1st prize; 2 train tickets to London including a site seeing tour with the Big Red Bus Company.

Fair opens with children’s dances on an international theme.

Come and see the Helicopter land and take off during the event and have a look around the Hodnet fire engine!

Entry by donation. All proceeds to Hodnet PTA, including outdoor learning project.
