Can you help with a "History of Hodnet" week at Hodnet School?

Hodnet School is holding a “History of Hodnet” week beginning on Monday 16th October.
It will involve all the pupils in the school and the teachers are asking local people to contribute to it in a number of ways.
They are looking for local people’s memories, photos, artifacts and memorabilia that they might be able to borrow to add interest to the week. They would also be interested in inviting volunteers into school to talk to the pupils about their memories of the area in years gone by.
Reception Class teacher, Emma Noden, says “As the school celebrates its 31st birthday at its current site, we are all keen to help the pupils find out more about the history of the school and the village. We feel it’s important for the pupils to know about local history.”
If you can help by loaning items of interest to the school, or by sharing your memories with the children, please contact Emma by email or by phoning her on 01630-685300 (Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays).
