Shotgun Cartridges Stolen In Marchamley

This morning (31 Jan. 2013) West Mercia Police have reported on their website the theft of up To 5,000 shotgun cartridges stolen in a burglary at Marchamley. They have appealed for information after up to £2,000 worth of shotgun cartridges were stolen from an agricultural supplier. The announcement on the website states:

New opening hours for council tips

Shropshire Council’s Newsroom has announced (here) new opening hours for its five household recycling centres – commonly referred to as “tips”. From March this year they will open from 9.00am to 5.00pm every day. This brings forward their closing times from 7.00pm on weekdays and 6.00pm at weekends during the summer.
