Anyone for Glow-worm Spotting?

Did you know that Hodnet possesses one of the few Glow-worm colonies in this part of the country? Would you like to see them?
If so, Hodnet Footpath Group would like to invite you join us on a late-evening walk along the old railway track between Hodnet and Wollerton to see these elusive beasties.
This is arranged for Friday 22 June, meeting by the council yard (old auction yard) in Station Road, Hodnet for a 10.30pm start. If weather is poor, the reserve date is the following Friday.
If you’d like to come along, please send our Secretary an email giving your contact phone number so we can let you know at short notice if this event is re-scheduled (ie: in the case of bad weather – ideally weather conditions need to be warm and dry – we are unlikely to see anything if it is cold and wet!).
BE WARNED THAT THIS IS A WALK IN THE DARK OVER UNEVEN GROUND AND A TORCH, SENSIBLE CLOTHING AND STURDY FOOTWEAR ARE ESSENTIAL. BECAUSE OF THE NEED FOR DARKNESS AND THE TIME OF YEAR, THIS WILL BE A LATE NIGHT POSSIBLY ENDING AROUND 11.30 TO MIDNIGHT!
ANY CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING ANY ESSENTIAL MEDICATION.
Hodnet Footpath Group can not accept any liability for loss of or damage to property [inc clothing and personal effects].
